Baby on Board

Hi everyone. Guess what? I have a baby! But you guys already know that. Rozafelle and I just got our first real sonogram image earlier this week. Technically, this was our second, but we couldn't see anything the first time - it was too early to detect anything.

Anyways the experience was amazing. The heart beat of our child is strong and healthy. Our little blueberry. At 7 weeks, the size of our baby is about the size of a blueberry, according to what Rozafelle has been reading. Below is the pic.

(This is Rozafelle typing.) Fortunately, my case of "morning sickness" is quite mild. Just some on-and-off queasiness and fatigue. I have no unusual cravings, however, I've never had such strong food aversions as I do now. Also, for some reason, I can never turn down pizza ... ?

(Back to Josh.) Please pray for us that both Rozafelle and the baby stay healthy throughout the pregnancy. And for Josh, as he now has to do all the chores and still make time to rub my back.

Thank you all for your support, and stay tuned for more updates ...

I've been meaning to add these - make you guys more hungry.  Trust us, the mini chocolate cake was as delicious as it looks.

i suppose now would be as good as any moment to join the blogging bandwagon!

after enjoying my 6th 28th bday celebration (got that?) with a nice dinner at crustaceans with josh, just josh, i have to confess i feel as if i've gained way more poundage throughout this past week than my freshman year in college.  yowsers!  yet, i say that with no regrets.  mmmm .... buttery, garlicky, roasted crab next to a plate of tiger prawns on a bed of garlic noodles.  let's leave it at that.  on second thought, i can't forget citizen cake's after midnight chocolate cake with a cappuccino to top off the evening.  mmmm ....
